How Can A Subconjunctival Hemorrhage Be Treated?

I have a Subconjunctival Hemorrhage, which has been diagnosed by an Opthamalogist. He warned me that it is severe enough that I may experience either: (a) blood going in pocket under the eye; and/or (b) creating a black eye effect. He suggested that a sleep on the opposite side of the affected eye so draining would not be downward. Do you have any other suggestions; and, do you agree? Thank You, Lisa P.S. Forget it. You failed to tell me of charges. I ll look it up myself.

Hello,

It does not require any treatment. Cold application is the only recommendation. Constipation and dry cough can be controlled stooping and straining should be avoided. I am not Lisa. If you want a specific answer, then ask again with the requirement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
