I began with a minor sty in my eye last week. Heat compresses helped. Two days ago it returned - still not sever - warm compresses seemed to help. Today there is still redness inside and outside lid and now redness on skin around bottom of eye. I have also been using steroid cream on hands for excema - which is clearing. I have been extremely careful not to rub or touch my eyes with bare hands.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Do frequent warm compresses and apply an antibiotic drops like moxifloxacin four times a day for a week . If still no relief then you have to visit an ophthalmologist who will have to drain the stye which is done by removing the eye lash as the base of the stye.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
