How Can A Red Rash On The Ankle Be Treated?

Yesterday, after raking & burning pine needles & leaves, I have a bright splash of red rash (below the skin) on right ankle; another smaller splash on my left ankle. Cannot feel it on the skin, nor does it itch. Just wondering what it was & what might have caused it?
