Hello i injured my finger 4 weeks ago i was hit on the tip of mu finger by a ball. It was really painfull, i thought it was just normal so i just tapped it and lived my normal life. i thought it was healing but didnt healed for 3 weeks but wasnt very painful and on 3rd week i went to play cricket and after holding a bat for few minutes i had a severe pain then after some days colour of my finger started to change and is sowollen went for an xray and it looked slight dislocation. i will be visiting doctor tomorrow, but m really worried if it will get cured. thank you
As there is an intense pain at 4 weeks of injury, it suggests that there are disturbances of the natural healing process due to an underlying crack in the bone or dislocation.
Immediate attention with ortho surgeon is warranted.
Primary relief with ice application, analgesic as Tramadol Hydrochloride if no history of drug sensitivity.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Purva Patel,
