How Can A Ligament Injury In The Knees Be Treated?

Hello Doctor, My knee got injured two weeks before while playing football. It seems ligament injury. MCL in left foot of grade 2. I can walk easily now but still want some suggestions from a you to how to take care properly. And is physiotherapy will be required in this??

MCL grade 2 generally does not require surgical interventions except there is persistence feeling of instability in knee joint. You should wear knee sleeves / braces whichever you are comfortable for 2-3 months while walking. Usually these type of injuries heal within 2-3 months. Even if you feel instability in your knee joint while walking, surgical intervention will be necessary.
