How Can A Hemorrhoid Be Treated?

Hello , for the past three days I have had bleeding and on my anus there is something that is hanging there. I started using preparation H but today after having a bowel movement I have started to bleed. It s bright red with some small clots. I have called an MD that did my first colonoscopy in Jan 2016. Which came out fine. He did say then I had a small hemmorid and a bit of dervicultis. So what do you think is happening? And they are suppose to call in AM to set up appointment for next week. But tomorrow I will be going out of town till next Thursday. So is there anything else I can do to treat this?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Previous observation made as presence of small hemorrhoid might have grown bigger by now, which is causing symptoms of bleeding and passage of clots.
Preparation H will help only to conservatively manage with hemorrhoids.
Kindly avoid constipation by taking laxative like Isapgol Husk powder and consuming soft and easily digestible foods.
You need to be treated surgically by means of cryosurgery at the earliest.
Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
