How Can A Hard Lump Inside The Mouth Be Treated?

Hi, I'm 21, 5'2", and weight 129 lbs. I have a history of anxiety/panic attacks. I don't know if that is relevant, but it has been the most persistent problem of mine. For the past year and a half, I've had a recurring little, white bump appear on the inside of my right cheek of my mouth. It always appears in the same exact spot. Sometimes it gets larger. It has disappeared and then reappeared a couple of times. It's small, round, and hard to the touch. Sometimes it's white and sometimes it matches the color of the inside of my cheek. It isn't painful at all, just irritating and makes me self-conscious of my mouth, although I'm sure no one else can see it. What is this and how do I make it go away? Thanks

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain it seems to be a mucous cyst or a mucocele which is formed either due to obstructed duct of minor salivary gland or can be due to ruptured duct of the gland..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case if it is a mucocele it is mostly self limiting and resolves gradually on its own..
You can do concentrated salt water gargles..
In case if it does not resolve or cause recurrence surgical removal of the gland has to be done..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
