How Can A Foot Injury Be Treated?

I have a bruise from a foot injury that occured about a 10 days ago. I have seen my doctor and he is recommending R.I.C.E. I had an xray and nothing seems to be broken. I m mostly concerned that the bruise has speckling of white dots thoughout the center of the deep purple. I m wondering if this is normal or cause for concern.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You don't have to worry about your condition ( As your tests were normal). You need rest, apply cold Ice, Compression, and elevation of your leg while sleep to relieve your symptoms. You can use analgesics such as Ibuprofen when necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abed Tahrawi
