How Can A Dark Mouth Discoloration Be Treated?
My daughter has a black ring around her mouth. Not sure if it is skin discoloration. It almost looks as if she has mold around her mouth. Perhaps from using old make up or an exfoliator that caused a reaction. I have no idea. She is very self-conscious about it. What could this be and how do we get rid of it. She has been to a dermatologist who simply prescribed steroids..not the answer I was looking for.

It is an allergic reaction and mid potent steroid and emollients are helpful in treating this.
