General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Sometimes the IUD like Copper-T may be expelled spontaneously. As it is a very small object it might get unnoticed. You can consult a gynaecologist and get an ultrasound scan to look for misplaced IUD.

If it is misplaced it can be easily removed through the vagina. Nothing much to worry and your gynaecologist can help you further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
