How Can A Callus On The Foot Be Treated?

I have a friend with a callus with a core in center on side of foot just a little further back of the little toe. He has tried cutting grinding etc. I think shoes are his main problem. ???? since after being removed they come right back.

Hello,

It is common for calluses to come back especially if the causing issue is not addressed. Sometimes certain shoes might cause them and the patient has to adjust and try other shoes to see if this helps.

On the other hand it is recommended to continue to shave off the hardened area time after time, especially after soaking the foot in warm water for 15-20 minutes as this makes it easier. Other things to try is the patches with solutions that dissolve the calluses, if used properly they can help a lot.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
