How Can A Bump On The Thigh Be Treated?

Hi my name is Cindi I m 23 and I have a question related to these two bumps I have the first one is on my thigh close to my bikini line that one has been there for months at first it didn t bother me but then it was just irritating. My mother made a mixture of sea salt & coconut oil for me to add on so it can pop I think and still think it s either a cyst or an infected follicule. Anyways after a few days the sea salt made it pop and I squeezed out the pus and blood. So it s popped like three times then another little bump came out on my bikini line and it sort of looks like if it s connected to the other one it swells up when I get my period. So recently I got the one on my thigh to close and I kept cleaning it thinking it was healing but then it swelled up again filling up and it s very tender it hurts now and very uncomfortable it s so tender it s red in the middle like if it s blood and thenaround it it s a white circle I want to say it s pus and I don t want to mess with it. I m scared what do you think it is? What do you suggest I do?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having multiple furuncles.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
