How Can A Brown Recluse Bite Be Treated?

I got bitten by a brown recluse three days ago. I have one pus sack and a red blotch close to it. I ve noticed odd changes in my body, dry lips from the venom reaction..and I went to a doctor like twice for it and I ve been lancing the pus bag to clean it up. And I keep getting allergy reactions like itching, shortness of breath, fever rashes and chills. Is there anything I can do to treat it?

Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns!

Brown recluse spider is a non poisonous insect and it seldom cause life threatening condition. It can cause severe allergic reaction and fever.
You don't need to worry regarding this because it can be treated effectively and complications are less.
I suggest you to do the following as a first line management:-
(1)- You can take avil(chlorpheneramine) or wysonlone for controlling the allergic reactions.
(2)- You can take analgesics like ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and fever. Apply ice packs over the affected area for symptomatic relief.
(3)- A short course of antibiotics may be needed in your case because of pus collection.
(4)- A tetanus shot is required if you hadn't one recently.
Drink plenty of water to keep your self rehydrated.
You don't need to worry as symptoms will resolve in few days.

Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks.
