How Can A Bone Bruise Be Treated?

I have been suffering from a subchondral bone bruise since the end of July and I m a long distance runner. I ve never been injured so this is horrible. I ve been seeing a PT and four different orthopedists for opinions. I m slowly healing, but not where I think I should be after nearly seven months! What gives?

Hello,

Bone bruising takes the time it may vary depending upon the age diet habits, weight other comorbidities. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking. Eat more green leafy vegetables so more vitamin K so rapid healing. Processed, refined sugar promotes inflammation, which is the exact opposite of what you want to heal a bone bruise so don't eat.

Lysine is a major bone and wound healer. This amino acid helps calcium absorption in the bones and regenerates tissue in the healing process. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
