How Can I Remove The Hotdog Stuck In My Throat?

24 year old male; 5'8"; 140 lbs;
I have had a piece of hotdog stuck in my throat for the past 8 hours. I accidentally swallowed without thorough chewing and my attempts to dislodge it have been unsuccessful. It was a rather large piece of hotdog. The food does not impact breathing, but it does block the passage of water to the stomach. The piece feels like it is caught in the portion of my esophagus next to where my sternum starts.

I have tried numerous things like trying to swallow or trying to drink water, but neither has worked. I have also attempted to vomit it back up, but have been unsuccessful at my attempts.

What can I do to remove this obstruction?

Hello.
Unfortunatly you cant do much for that.
You should go to the hospital ( Emergency).
Some times the food will pas through using some medications, othewise the doctors are going to take it out under general anestesia through the mouth ( Rigit esophagoscopy).

wish you all the best...
