How can I make my boyfriend stop worrying about my heart?
I have Angina (unstable chest pains) a lot of the times. I haven't been tested for what causes it, and I have no prescriptions for it. I told my boyfriend about it and my friend blabs to him about what Angina is and the fact its letting you know theres a heart attack coming soon if you don't calm down, relax, treat it, or take medicine. So now he's freaking out and is worried about me. I get the pain a lot of the time. I sometimes end up crying cause it hurts to much. He's so afraid of losing me because of a heart attack. I started to talk to him calmly about it and reassure him I'll be okay. He was fighting back tears >.< What should I do? How can I help him relax and not worry about it too much? ~Snow-Crystal Angel

Please pay attention to this nurse who's telling you that you absolutely must have this chest pain evaluated by a physician. Your boyfriend's worry is very well placed. If you do not have this pain taken care of you definitely could have a major heart attack or you could die. This is nothing that should be taken lightly. You have no way of knowing that you will be OK, so reassurances are useless. Please, see a doctor pronto.
