How Can I Control Blood Sugar As I Feel Weakness Sometimes ?

I am diabetic type2. Yesterday I got lab test of Fasting blood sugar 120 mg/dl, PP in 2 hours 206mg/dl and also traces in urine . What does it mean . what should now I do ? I feel weakness sometimes. I am under strict diabetic diet . Thank you Lal baboo

Your Fasting blood sugar is just within the maximum permissible limit and PP in 2 hours falls in higher range. The latter is a better indicator of sugar metabolism. I suggest you go Glycosylated haemoglobin test which will indicate your sugar levels over the past 2-3 months and is the best indicator( should be below 6.5%). If high i suggest you visit your physician for a change in medication or dosage.
