hi my wife got pregnant and she the baby was 4 weeks. This was an unplanned babay so we went to doctor for abortion. the doctor gave 3 strong pills in the first and then later she prescribed cytolog tablets. My wife is bleeding from last 20 days. When we went again to check for any traces using ultra sound the doctor said there were still traces inside and gave another 8 pills of cytolog. If this time the tablests wont work then she said we have to undergo a 30 minutes surgery. Please let me know if there is way to avoid surgery and remove the traces using pills only.

HI, I have two rods and 10 screws in my lower back, and two rods in my upper back, I have degenative disc decease, I am 62, I have work very hard all my life, the Doctor I have is very good, I can only lift 10 lbs. I am doing alright, my neck snaps and cracks all the time, I had my top two rods put in sept. of 2013, which is my fifth major back surgery, I also have electronic stimulator in my low back to control pain, it works, Question - will I have any more surgeries in the future, I ask my doctor and he said to avoid anymore surgeries is not to get old? What do you think, I can walk fine, I once was at a point when I could not walk. Thank you. Jerome Hessling

She did not make it out of surgery. Any reasons her arthritis/hypothyroidism had anything to do with it?

Please direct this question to an ortopedic surgeon and/or an alternative medicine specialist. i m a 57 y.o. male, outta shape and overweight with two dislocated shoulders - one worse than the other (supposedly 3rd degree seperation/subluxation) but both give me chronic pain. the worst one has the classic hump where the bone has popped up out of the joint it s the worst but, the other one gives me quite a bit of pain too. all i have for pain is ibuproffen(handfulls) acetaminofen, and alcohol. My Dr. had breifly prescribed Gabbapentin which like Tylenol wasn t much help, essentially negligible. Some years back i had convinced a VA surgeon to do the standard operation but, upon researching it, i learned that only 50% of the time was it effective and of those, 50% developed arthritis in the shoulder. I need some real options/alternatives Doc. Been living with chronic pain for 15 years - not to mention the lack of funtionality. Any suggestions?
