How Can HPV Infection Be Diagnosed?

I slammed my hand into a mechanism at work and my friend is convinced it is a wart now, even though I am convinced it is merely an recovering injury, I took a big chunk out of my finger. My friend also says it means that I have HPV inside me. The injury has old skin around the edge, new red skin around the outside of what I believe is a scab but I'm being told by my friend (who is not a doctor) that it could possibly be a wart. I didn't think plantars warts grew in injuries.

Hello,

First of all, I will suggest you calm down. I do not really think, you got HIV but to be sure you should take an appointment with your doctor which will prescribe you some analysis to be sure about it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Elona Dashi
