Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter is having problems with either GERD or acid reflux but I’m finding the medicines are not very effective in helping her. I’m suspecting it’s possible she has been either misdiagnosed or is having a serious issue since she’s still feeling like something is stuck in her esophagous for hours after eating.
She may be suffering from GERD or esophageal spasm or achalasia or food Intolerance. Please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and do an endoscopy and treat her accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
