If you have travelled recently to any tropical country, w have to rule out traveler's diarrhea. The most common causes at Escherichia coli and Amoeba.
The two and some other organisms will be covered by a combination of-
1. Tab Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice a day-if you at not allergic to Sulphonamides or Flouroquinolone agents
2. Tab Flagyl 500 mg twice a day both taken for 5 days.Substitute Cipro with tab Augmntin 625 mg twice a day if you at allergic to -floxacin subgroup of agens.
3. Syrup Digiplex 1 table spoon full after every major meals.
Plenty of water and fluid intake preferably with Oal Rhydration Solution dissolved in it to avoid any dehydration that will be indicated by dry mouth and decreased urine output.

Godspeed you will be alright in 5 days.
