How An Itchy Eye Be Treated?
Hi, I had an itchy eye about an hour so ago. Thought it was an eyelash so tried to blink it out but to no avail. I went to check in the mirror and saw the outer white of the eye swollen with what looks like a translucent film. When I turn the other direction and look through that corner, the outer white of the eye slightly compresses and looks like it might fold like a jelly. There is also pressure felt. I freaked out and flushed the eye with some saline drops. It seems to have helped the itch a little, but the outer eye still has what looks like a film over it. Just the white of the outer part of the eye. Should I be concerned?

It can be allergic blepharitis or angular conjunctivitis. Get eye examined by eye doctor. Clean the eye with sterile gauge. Apply Cromal eye drop.
Start taking tablet Levocetirizine drug in morning for ten nowadays use anything without doctors advice avoid cosmetic.
If there pet in house then keep distance from I tit can be pollen in eye or allergen can be in food and drink. Allergy test can be done to identify allergen.

It could be a pterygium which is a mass which grows on the eye or it could be a mucopurulent discharge. You need a slit lamp evaluation for both.
