how i can conceive and what medication should i take to get my monthly periods regular I am married since 3 years and now planning to have a baby. But I have 2 health problems 1. I am a PCOD case and have irregular menstrual cycles off late my periods have been regular and its been 45days that i got my periods. 2. I have psoriasis since last 12 years and i have tried all kinds of treatment during this i was put on steroids which caused me to become obese and last 2 years back my skin problem was aggravated and i was hospitalized and i was on cyclosporine tablets but now since 1 year the allergy has been under control and i have stopped taking medication for the same. Please guide me as how i can conceive and what medication should i take to get my monthly periods regular

minimum for you is to have ovulation and patent tubes and your husband should have normal semen analysis report

you need to see a fertility specialist.The main problem here is the PCOS and the obesity.You first need to lose weight.Along with that you need to have a full hormonal work up and a pelvic ultrasound.Then the PCOS has to be controlled.If your periods have to be regularised with medicines but but all other pathology has to be ruled out.After you are getting regular periods then you may need ovulation induction drugs.As per protocol,you husband has to be tested too.
