Hot Tub With Stent, What Is The Difference ?

After having a heart attack , my friends husband had stents put in and was told he could no longer use his hot tub. My husband had 2 stents put in after finding clogs durning a routine angiogram, and his hot tub use was not addressed. What is the difference ?

After having stents placed, it is better to avoid hot tub baths as sudden exposure of chest wall to high temperature or low temperature may induce a sudden heart attack in an already compromised heart. It is better to avoid tub baths.
