1. In females things to look out for hair fall are: low hemoglobin, under active thyroid and any STRESS (anxiety/depression) related condition! hope you have ruled out these factors and if not, first make sure these are not the cause of your hair fall.
2. make sure Dandruff is not present in your scalp which can be a contributory cause.
3. Avoid:excess use of shampoo,hair oil,combing/grooming wet hair.
4. You need to consult with a good Doctor of Alternative medicine to discuss your problem and to go ahead with further line of treatment and management.

Now a days Tension and Dandruff are also one of the major reason for Hair fall, apart from tension As per your problem I suggest you to take Arnica 30 and Jaborandi 30, tree times a day, alternately avoid any other things before and after 30 mins while taking medicine, also use Arnica and Jaborandi hair oil to massage your hairs gently to your hair roots, use daily on alternate basis. Also take lycopodium 200 on every Sunday, 1 dose, don’t take any other homeopathic medicine on Sunday. Report after 15days.

Thanks for writing in,
75 percent hairfall means hairfall is severe kind. Kindly do investigations like Thyroid profile to rule out hypothyrodism, serum ferritin level to rule out low serum ferritin level and pelvic ultrasound to rule out pcod. Homoeopathy definately help you to prevent hairfall.

Homeopath Dr. Swati Ramkumar's  Response
Hair loss are of different types( androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium ) and can be caused due to a variety of reasons.
In cases of females, stress, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiency, anemia, post partum, crash dieting, illness or underlying diseases like PCOD or thyroid could cause hair fall. Physical damage to the hair in the form of hair treatments, straightening, perming, use of hair colors or rough combing could also be the culprit.
Hence with the details you have mentioned it is very difficult to know the cause of this severe hair fall. And unless the underlying cause is found out and taken care of , no amount of medicines would benefit you.

Hence I would suggest you to visit a Homeopath for a detailed case history, who can examine you and suggest the further line of action. Certain blood test might also be required.

I have been experiencing this type of hair loss for 9 months now. Blood tests for Iron deficiency and thyroid are normal. I have undergone treatment from a dermatologist which included monthly visits for Kenalog injections and use Clobetesal nightly. I did not have an appointment this month as the thought was it may be my last affected area. Now I have 5 bald patches ranging in size from a nickel to half-dollar. It is thought that it is due to emotional stress as my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer last January and these spots started to appear the following March. My husband is undergoing chemo with little to not side effects and the treatment will add years to his life, so one would think I would no longer be stressed, I am grateful for that. I just don't know why these are still appearing and should I consider another method of treatment. I plan to schedule another appointment with my dermatologist and I am not sure what to ask for. Could you give me some alternative choices that I may be able to ask him about? I appreciate you being there. Thank you. Claudia Crowe
