Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past two years, I have been on two medications to help lower my hypertension. Yet for almost a year, I have not been taking my medication. Reason is well, the co-pay builds up everytime I go in for a refill and its sort of hard when you are trying to save money for the future and pay for a medicine co-pay. Question: does anyone have any suggestions that may lower my high blood pressure minus the medications?
Quit smoking, walk 30 min. daily, and believe it or not squeezing a tennis ball for 2 minutes 3 times a day 3 days a week, and lose weight if you need to. Add as much cardiovascular exercise as you can, running, swimming, biking, etc.... Good luck.
