Hi,
Welcome & Thanks for posting your query to HCM.
It appears fro your query that you suffered from
Pseudo folliculitis barbae ( condition of hair tip growing into the skin causing inflammation and later on red bumps and later on scarring).
For the solution of small holes you can apply
tretinoin cream( start with 0.025% and then later 0.05%) under medical guidance. This has to be used for a long time. Along with it can use certain peeling & lightening agents such as
Glycolic acid and azealic acid preparation which will actually not remodel the pits a lot but definitely will help out in reducing the visibility of scar by reducing the pigmentation around it with some role in further prevention of the problem.
In future also you have a chance of recurrence. To prevent the same you can use electric shavers, or special wire-wrapped blade to avoid shaving too closely, with a new blade each shave. One important point is to do shave in the direction of hair growth every other day and not daily.
Hope this information will help you.
With best health regards,
