Hit On The Ear With A Water Balloon. Filled Ear With Water. Muffled Hearing, Pain And Hearing Loss. What To Do?
I was hit squarely on the ear today with a water balloon. The person that threw it did so very hard. The balloon popped and filled my ear with water. Now my ear sounds fuzzy or muffled-like I have cotton in it. I have drained my ear of all fluids, but I am still experiencing slight pain and hearing loss . I do not have ringing or buzzing. What might have happened?

hello,you will most probably have a torn eardrum.that is the reason for the pain and hearing loss.do not allow water to enter your ears.do not instill ear drops of any kind.see an ENT doctor as soon as possible.dont worry most tears of the eardrum heal on their own in a few weeks.get well soon. dr praveen.
