History Of Surgery. Pain Due To Scar Tissue. Help

i have problems with my scar tissue growing really fast. last surgery I had, they had to take 4 foot of bowl out of me. it started back in 2004 and I was going through surgery every 6 months. when the surgen put mesh in to stop it, it grew right through it. it took 9 hours to get it all out. he told me I dont have to worry about it cause he said he put a ton of it in me. now its getting really bad and the pain is killing me. but now he is telling me that if I have surgery again it will kill me. i dont know what to do. i scream when i go to the bathroom and now I have to force myself to pee. i am trying to get to cleveland clinic. I went to ohio state and he didnt do anything but tell me if I have anymore surgeries i will die. I think I am going to die without the surgery cause the pain is almost to much for me. every time they did surgery they got 7 to 14 pounds of scar tissue every 6 months. i cant find a surgen that will touch cause i know because of all the mesh the one surgen put in me. I dont want to die. please help me. I have no money right now on medacare medicade

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
oils to moisturize the scar tissue are often very effective. Along with aloe vera and Vitamin E oil extracts, lavender oil is often recommended. The oil helps to soften the dead tissue and slowly reduce the size of the scar. At the same time, it sometimes will help to fade the scarring, making it less noticeable.

Taking vitamin supplements can also help your body to facilitate the healing process. Including extra Vitamin C and Vitamin E can help boost the immune system and help the area around the scar to produce healthy skin to eventually replace the scar tissue. Adding in beta-carotene as well as zinc will also provide your body with more of the resources needed to deal with light scarring, eventually rendering the scar almost impossible to detect
Also compression strapping the scar helps breaking the collagen fibres of scar .So consult your surgeon also.
