History Of Reoccurring Bacterial Vaginosis And Yeast Infections, On Antibiotics For A Sinus Infection. Permanent Cure?

I had a tampon find its way out of me today and I freaked out. My period ended four days ago so I know how long the tampon must have been lost . I thought it was a yeast infection because I had itching and irritation around my vulva . I assume the tampon started disintegrating because there were clots coming out at first and then a bunch of brown discharge and the tampon came afterwards after I neared down. It s still uncomfortable and it s still the same day, but the discharge is still strange and discolored and stretchy. There s no foul odor (yet) and I don t want to get one! I ve had a history of reoccurring bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections and I m currently on antibiotics for a sinus infection . Please let me know what actions I should take, if there s possibly more tampon left inside me. I can t afford a Dr. What s this strange discharge and how do I fix all my symptoms?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
By examination only the exact cause for your problem can be identified.
So better to consult gynecologist once and get examined.
By doing physical and speculum examination any forgotten tampon can be identified and also the nature of the discharge can be found out.
You can go for vaginal swab culture and sensitivity, to find out the causative organism of infection and its sensitivity to drugs.
