History Of Having Periods Of One To Two Days. Bleeding Only For A Day After Having Unprotected Sex. Ultrasound Showed No Pregnancy. Serious?
over the last three months I have had a cycle of one to two days bleeding. My last period was on the 3rd. I had unprotected sex on the 12th and 13th . I started bleeding on the 29th. lasted only a day and few hours. Could I be pregnant. On 25th I had an ultrasound that ruled pregnancy out. I am worried. I dont want to have a baby, because my relationship is quite unstable now.
Hi, Welcome to HCM. Ultrasound done on 25th (before menses) wouldn't rule out pregnancy. But as you had period on expected time, if flow was normal (what you experienced in last 2-3 cycles), you need not worry as pregnancy in that case is less likely. If flow was less than previous cycles, you need to rule out pregnancy either by urine or blood beta hCG test & act according to its result. Wish you good health.
