History Of Ectopic Pregnancies With Laparoscopic Surgery And Methotrexate Injections. Possible Normal Pregnancy In Future?
Hi,
I have a history of two ectopic pregnancies. For first one I had a laparoscopic without any harm to my tubes and for second one I was given two injections of Methotrexate. I know there is an increased risk of ectopic again but Is there chances for me to have a normal pregnancy again? How much gap should be there after these injections was given to me before we could try again? Appreciate your response. Thanks, Jennie
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. If you were my patient I will advise you to have a gap for atleast 6 months. But as you have mentioned risk is higher in your case to get another ectopic but there are chances of getting normal pregnancy too. Thank you.
