HI DOCTOR,

FELL OFF MY BICYCLE 4 DAYS AGO, DURNING DAILY RIDE, FELL HARD LANDED ON MY RIGHT HIP
AND RIGHT UPPER LEG. 20 MINUTES LATER SWELLED TO A HUGE , HUGE, SIZE LIVE WITH MY OLDER
MOTHER, LOOKED BAD, WENT TO ER. LOCAL HOSIPTAL. TOOK X RAYS NO BREAKS. LEG WAS BLACK
SIZE OF DINNER PLATE. DOCTOR SAID PUT ICE ON IT AND GO HOME.THEY GAVE ME A TATNESS SHOT
DOCTOR SAID DON'T WORIE ABOUT BLOOD CLOTS, I'M 59 YEARS OLD AND IN GOOD SHAPE WORK OUT
ALLMOST EVERYDAY. 5 DAYS LATER SWELLING ALMOST GONE BUT1/2 SIZE OF SMALL BASEBALL STILL
IN CENTER OF INJURYED AREA. WHAT NOW... I'M RETIRED, AFTER 40 YEARS AT XEROX..

Hi! I suggest you go for one more X ray and compare with the earlier one. As such the whole Blood clot to get organized will take at least 3 to 4 weeks. You may see an Orthopaedician with the X Rays. Get well soon.
