High Fever & Congested Nasal And Chest, Please Help
My husband has a temperature of 103.6 he is 47 years old, he is congested nasal and chest, he says his back hurts and he has a headache. He refuses to go to the doctor he says its just a cold, it sounds like pneumonia to me ? What do you think ?

your husband may be having viral fever as per your description;here you have not mentioned since how many days he has this fever.If it is since one day then some thing like Tab-CROCIN every 6 hourly can help him;but still i would suggest that you show him to a doctor close to your residence.

High grade fever with chest congestion, Pneumonia be it bacterial or viral can be considered apart from malaria which now a days does not show classical signs and can present even with chest congestion, so as Dr.Arif suggested, get your husband fully evaluated so that proper treatment can be initiated as soon as possible.I hope he takes things seriously,as people do land up in ICU's with malaria and pneumonia too.

since how long he is having these symptom.is this temp remaining constant if you feel that heaviness &some what pain in chest then you can conclude that chest is congested if nasal congestion is there then there may be some what nasal discharge.if he is having these symptom more then wk it would be due to higher infection chances of pneumonia are less.you can take cap step of vasu pharma 2cap 3times &chosath prahri piper 2tab 3times for 2wk.
