High blood pressure after having an accident. X-ray report normal. Could it be due to the rise in adrenaline?

Hi, I just got into a car accident yesterday afternoon and I went to the ER later that night, and made sure I was okay. There was no broken bones when I took the xrays. After a nights sleep I still am exhausted. Also, when they checked my blood pressure , it was high. Could it be that my adrenaline was kicked in because of the accident?
