High BP, Diabetes. Given Aspirin. Done Stress Test And Echocardiogram. Will The Condition Get Better?

My mom's blood pressure usually spikes up to 190/100 or even higher during night or early morning after she wakes up. Her stress test, 2d echo are normal. Her cardiologist couldn't find anything wrong with her. She had been given aspirin, betablockers but once in ever 2 or 3 days, this condition happens. What could be my mom's condition. She is 66 years old and diabetic.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

There are several possibilities – night mares / reaction to low sugar at night / episodic hypertension like Pheochromocytoma, and so on. ..

See an Internist / get her examined / further investigation may be necessary... stress test only excludes ischemia; abdominal scan, renal function, hormones may have to be looked into

Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
Good luck
