How Long Should Neomycin Drops Be Used For The Treatment Of Swimmers Ear?

Hi there...I was diagnosed a little over a week ago with swimmers ear. I stuck my pinky finger in my ear because it itched and the doctor said I pushed bacteria into my ear. He gave me ear drops, to use three times a day for a week, neomycin drops and it kind of started to get better but after being out in the cold last weekend, I still have that annoying gravel noise in my ear, and it s really bothersome. Wondering if I should go back to the doctor or keep using the drops.

I think you can use boric acid for it better than antibiotics .
Also use ear plugs when swimming and washing to prevent reoccurring.
Use advil for pain.
Use ear drops after swimming and washing to prevent infection.
