Hi, if an abortion has taken place at 6-8weeks but has been unsuccessful, for example it shows that the person is still pregnant when tested again in 4 weeks, how likely is it that the person will have to have the pregnancy terminated properly? Is there more chance of a proper termination or having a healthy baby? What would be recommended?

Hi,I am 6 weeks pregnant and have taken cytotec to end the pregnancy (800mcgX3 over 12 hrs). It is 32 hrs since I started taking the tablets. I had cramps and have had slight bleeding but nothing heavy suggesting an abortion. The pharmacist has now suggested taking Methergin (o.125mg) to complete the procedure-will this work? Thanks for your help.
