What Medical Condition Could Cause Numbness And Tingling Sensation, Itching In The Groin Area And Dryness In The Mouth?

Hi! My name is Sumit. I live in Canada. In the past two weeks I have been having numbness, tingling and pins and needles sensation. Slowly those sensations turned into really bad itching. Especially around the groin area. One morning I woke up with heavy weakness not able to walk. couldn t feel my legs at one point. Been betting some dry mouth too, not sure if its related. My digestion has slowed down considerably. recently I have been getting back spasms too. not sure if that could be related. Could you help? the doctors here said, i need rest and exercise and proper diet and it might be a viral infection that mimics MS.

Hi,

These symptoms is not related to each other, but anyway, you should do some lab works to exclude MS or any underlying disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
