How Can Delayed Periods, Abdominal Cramps And Back Pain Be Managed?

Hi, I took siphene from 5th day of my period for 5days. My menstrual cycle is of 27days.i got my last period on 21st September. But this time I have not got periods till 29th day. I am getting cramps and backache. Is it because of the medicine or can I be pregnant? When shall I take the pregnancy test.

Hi,

Siphoned needs to be taken regularly at the same time of day till the complete pack is over. You had started it on 5th day but took it only for 5 days that carries risk of conception for not being regular in intake of contraceptive. Thus, your delay in periods can be from conception. This can be confirmed by home pregnancy test after 8 days of delay in periods.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
