What Could Cause Watery Diarrhea, Weakness And Dizziness?
Hi I have had watery diarhea for 2-3 and is now more lumpy and better but still have diarhea. I have been feeling weak, drowsy and dizzy along. the 1st was the worst where I actually almost fainted and lost control of my hands for 30 seconds. It is getting better now but I still feel weak . At first I thought the cause could be lactose intolerance since it happened when I drank a lot of milk but I have been eating cheese and most of my life. The other thing I thought it was was my diet, my meals were off from the standard meal times and I wasn t eating much fruit/veggies. I do not have any stomach ach or rectum pains but my stomach gargles a lot sometimes. It s been going on for a week now so im starting to think it could be viral ? What do you think ? Thank you
After reading your query, kindly find my answer below.
Week-long diarrhea can be from an acute bacterial or viral infection, the later is a more sound possibility due to the absence of fever.
Following guidelines will serve best to recover earlier
- drink more liquids - raise intake of yogurt in bland vegan diet - pro and prebiotics as lactobacillus - prescription of GI specific antibiotic as metronidazole or else from your PCP - antacid as ranitidine
