Should I Take Both Amlodipine Besylate And Amlodipine At Same Time?

Hi! I have been prescribed Amlodipine Besylate 5mg and now Irbesartan 75mg! Each once a day! Have been on amiodipine Besylate a month! Just got Irbesartan prescribed today! Should I take both at same time and in morning or bedtime??? I hear different times?? Have been on Amiodipine for a month and pressure up and down- guess that s why Doctor adding Irbesartan ! Would appreciate your input on times ! Thank you!

Hi,

You can check on the prescription how it is advised. However, you can take both of them at same time or one in morning n one in evening. You should get your BP checked in morning and evening hours and decide accordingly.
