Hi I had a pin lodged in my thumb 4 days ago, it bled for about 1-2 minutes after I pulled it out and I got a tetanus shot about 3 hours later and the doctor said I should try to keep the wound clean, it was a fairly small wound and I did keep it clean for a day and a half but when I was working outside I had gotten my hands dirty but the wound looked to be closed up as there was no bleeding or redness, there was only a small part of skin hanging off it, and I clean my hands after I had finished the task in question, I do sometimes feel stiffness and tension and I sweat a little too but that could also be due to my anxiety disorder, I'm just wondering based on all the above am I still at risk of getting tetanus?
