Hi. I am a 64 yr old female. I am in good health, no serious chronic conditions. I have always had some small degree of irritable bowel, diarrhea and constipation are not uncommon for me, but it is mild, doesn't impact my life. But I have been experiencing watery diarrhea for about 6-7 days, some mild cramping, but no other symptoms, no fever, nausea, vomiting, aches, nothing else. I don't believe it is viral, no one around me at work or at home has been sick or gotten sick. I did the BRAT diet yesterday, and today only clear liquids. I have had a couple bouts of diarrhea today. I have been under stress at work. Could stress alone cause this? I have had to get up a couple times at night with this. I still have an appetite, I am hungry, but afraid to eat much. What could be going on?
