Hey! I was diagnosed with de Quervain and was given

Hey! I was diagnosed with de Quervain and was given a cortisone shot today. I was told the pain would be sore, but it’s extremely sharp pain, I can’t move any part of my hand without being in extreme pain.

I have no redness or swelling, but I was also not given any pain medications besides the advice to take ibuprofen which hasn’t worked with this injury for me at all. Is this a normal reaction to the cortisone shot?

I also feel nauseous and I didn’t know if I should go to the ER

My husband has been diagnosed with dequervain disease. He went for physiotheraphy and also took light laser treatment. It is week since he took this laser treatment. No improvement Now it is more than four months and the nagging pain continues when he does certain actions like brushing his teeth, tucking in his shirt etc. Is there any cure in ayurveda for this? will it be cured permanently? Please advise. Thanks

I have been diagnosed with De Quervains tenosynoritis. I received 2 cortisone shots and my doctor is going to add antiflammatory medicine. He said i may need surgery to release the tendon, but said exercise/physical therapy will not help. Do you think physical therapy could help this?
