Heroin And Methadone Consumption During Gestation. What Are The Side Effects?
my daughter was born 1 25 2012 her mom used heroine and methadone during her gestation she was weened of methadone after birth for eight days and dropped .03 a day with a start dose of .3 morphine Is that a lot and what effects will all this have on her? Im triing to get full custody of my baby who is now two and everyones saying she's a drug affected baby will I be able care for her and why is there nothing in her medical records about what symtoms she

It is a pity to hear that you have been using heroine and methadone during pregnancy. There is an innocent creature suffering the side effect now.
Once you are cleared off heroin and do not use them anymore, you can take care of your baby. Otherwise, it is better to have somebody else caring about her.
Until the moment she was in the hospital and no medical record was signed, then, this means she had experienced nothing serious.
However, brain damages and drug affection are the most common side effects of using heroin during pregnancy. Again, it is a pity to hear that!
Please (this is for the "mom" part inside you) do not sacrifice your baby for a rubbish such as heroin or methadone.
