Suggest Treatment For Hearing Loss Caused After Pouring Few Drops Of Hydrogen Peroxide Into My Ears

Hello, yesterday I decided to clean my ears and poured a little peroxide in both ears. My right ear cleaned fine, however when i put it in my left ear its caused some issues. When I put the first few drops in I felt it stop, then sink lower. I felt a pulsing in my ear, like it had seeped into my lower eardrum canal. Currently it feels as if my ear is full of water and has caused some hearing loss, but has enhanced other hearing like making the sound of chewing much louder.

Hello,

Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, the area grows back. There might have been too much damage for that to even be possible. A popped eardrum heals back.

There is some long term disfunction from it but generally not enough for people to notice. BUT the whole area might have been dissolved. Can't say. Could even be an ongoing infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
