Hello. I have recently had 3 lymph nodes removed to check for lymphoma. There was no cancer but a silicone granule in one lymph node. 2 weeks after the surgery. I broke out with many of my lymph nodes behind my ear, on my face and neck and under my chin becoming swollen pea size and blistering. Blood tests revealed no infection or virus apparently. Swab test revealed no shingles. Swelling is going away and sores are scabbed. Hoping to explore these episodes more to find out if there may still be a problem. Any test suggestions?

A friend of my 23 year old daughter has had a needle biopsy of cervical lymph glands and an upper head/neck CT scan done recently. She is scheduled for removal of neck lymph glands this coming week and has not had anything explained to her about what was found or why this procedure. Could you shed some light on what to expect or a way to proceed to get some answers? She is a single mom and is worried.

Hello. I have had a lump in my thigh for a couple years. In the past few months it has grown. MRI indicates enlarged lymph node (with a nearly matching sized lymph node in other thigh). CBC results shows Absolute Lymphs as 3.2. WBC = 7.4. RBC = 4.07. Surgery is scheduled to remove the lymph node later this month. Needless to say, I am scared.

I have recently been in a car accident-- about 2 weeks ago-- where I was rear ended. This is the second time in 6 months! now, whenever I turn my head I feel crunching.. and overall I feel lousy. On top of it, I have had lymphnodes removed in the past and I have been neglecting the fact that I have had one in the same spot where I had had them removed for about 5 years now... It is painless and behind my ear. However, I am wondering if my pain intolerance is related to the lymphnode? Overall-- I m tired, sore, dizzy, and have no appetite... I haven t eaten in almost 4 days because I really can t even think about food. I m unable to sleep-- I wake up drenched in sweat when I do finally fall asleep... what is going on with me
