Hello I had a mri done on my cervical and thoracic spine, I have c5 and c6 dices/osteophyte with flatting of the cord suggesting spinal narrowing, then it goes on to say there is a vage t2 hyper intestine signal within the cord at this level wich could represent a element of mild Myelomalacia, then when you read on it says no abnormal enhancement of the cervical or thoracic spine. What does that mean if they found mild Myelomalacia but there is no abnormal enhancement. And can flatting of the cord cause the Myelomalacia?

Hello Dr I did MRI for the cervical Spine, The axial sequence results were, C2/3, C3/4, C5/C6 andcC6/7 have central disc protusion causing impression on the thecal sac. The problem is I cant sleep nor stand for a longer time, the pain is from the lower back to the buttock and moving down the left leg. Also the left arm when I raise it above my head it becomes numb and painful although I did the CTS surgical release 4 months ago the pains are unbearble. Kindly advice

Hello sir, I have pain in my low back area and this pain goes down to my left thigh also. Yesterday i have gone through MRI. Below are my MRI details. I greatly appreciate if anybody provide me a feedback about my MRI report. 1. Straightened lumber and cervical curvature - likely due to muscle spasm. 2. Early lumbar and cervical spondylosis wit L3-L4,L4-L5 and L5-S1 disc desiccative changes. 3. L4-5 disc posterocentral broad based disc bulge with ligamentum flavum thickening identing the ventral thecal sac and compromising the bilateral lateral recesses with probable impingement onto the traversing nerve roots. 4. L3-L4 and L5-S1 discs shows broad based posterocentral disc bulge identing the ventral thecal sac mildly compromising the bilateral neural foramina with no significant neural impingement. 5. Secondary canal compromise at L3-L4, L4-L5 and L5-S1 levels most significant at L4-L5 level. 6. Screening of rest of the spine shows diffuse cervical disc dessicative changes with C5-6 and C6-7 discs mild diffuse annular bulges identing the ventral sac with no obvious neural impingement.
