What Medical Condition Could Cause Back Pain, Pain While Urinating And Blood In The Urine?

Hello, I am concerned about some weird symptoms I have been having for the past week or so. I have some back pain, pain when urinating and last week I had what looked like blood in my urine, but I have my period this week, so I am just not sure what s going on.

Hello,

Your symptoms suggest an inflammation in the lower urinary tract. To relieve pain you can use urinary anti-spasmodic. Urinary alkalinizers should be used. Antibiotics are usually needed to treat the infection. Please get proper evaluation from your health care provider and plan further management.

Hope I have answered your query. You can reach me here for further queries.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
